APS is dedicated to child development and will adopt practices that have a positive, lasting impression on the growth and development of children. Our aim as a school is to help children be successful in all their endeavors and to help parents be a part of applauding their children’s efforts.
As a child’s physical, intellectual, social and emotional growth develops extensively in the first six years of his/her life, we at APS focus on building all these aspects.
It is an honor and privilege to be the Principal of Akshar Public School. My primary motivation as a Principal has been to prepare our children to be future ready.
At, APS we aim to cultivate good disposition, develop lifelong skills and competencies for our students to make them the leaders of the future.
It is with great excitement that I write this letter of introduction to you as the new Principal of Akshar Public School, Sevasi Campus. I am honoured to have the opportunity to lead a school with such persevering students, an extremely dedicated staff, and a supportive school community. I feel very fortunate to be a part of this school and to support the students and families.
I have been dedicated to the field of education for more than twenty-seven years. I have worked with students ranging in age from Kindergarten through 8th grade in a variety of roles. Most recently, I have served as the Head of Kindergarten, Grade I & II at all the 3 campuses of APS. I am thrilled to bring my skills as an educational leader and to work with you as a partner in education to ensure your child’s success.
On a personal note, my husband and I have lived in Pune for over 23 years before relocating to the cultural capital of Gujarat. Our only son is a decorated officer with the Indian Armed Forces. We love Vadodara and all this community offers. We are proud to be part of the Vadodara School District, one that values high standards by providing rich learning experiences for all students.
I view education as a life-long process and expect that I will continue to learn much about the uniqueness of APS this year and in the years to come. Most importantly, I bring a belief that students are at the centre of all school-related decisions. I am excited to unite my experience, my openness to learn, and my child-centred approach to support our students. The relationships between families and the school are vital to the success of our students, thus I encourage you to be with me in every way possible. I look forward to meeting you soon once this pandemic ceases.
