LIBRARY

A library is the calm and peaceful place where ideas come to life and where history can be found in pages of many books. Access to all of this is at Akshar Public School. The library also includes computer work stations and ample amount of space to work for both junior and senior level students. It has a variety of books, novels, magazines, educational guides, journals, reference books and many more. There is a period of library allotted to each class to come, develop and explore their imagination.

SPORTS

Sports and physical activities are an integral part of a child’s educational environment. The school has excellent sport facilities and areas that are spacious for outdoor and indoor games. Extra physical training activities are included which are facilitated by a trained physical instructor.

YOGA & MIND POWER CLASS

The power and calmness of a mind that yoga provides makes it an essential part of our activities for students. Every ‘Aasan’ is explained and categorically taught according to age. Yoga classes help the students keep their mind at ease and relaxed from the daily routine.

PROJECTOR ROOM

The school has a large and spacious room with a projector and it’s connected to the speakers for a full surround sound. It helps both teachers and students in displaying presentations.

ART & CRAFT GALLERY

‘A child is like the potter’s clay who can be groomed and molded in accordance to the desired shape.’ The role of Art is recognized as an expression of creativity and innovation. It is in this context that the curriculum envisages a more meaningful role of Art.

COMPUTER LABORATORY

We encourage learners to explore the educational content on a digital platform and apply them in their educational learning processes in the classroom. The school is equipped with the latest computer software, hardware and educational programs. Computers are introduced to the students from Nursery onwards. The computer lab is accessible to students and the faculty during and after school hours.

SMART CLASS

Smart class enables computer based teaching-learning system. The child learns and comprehends through audio-visual methodology.

AUDITORIUM

A large auditorium hall is available for a variety of inter school and intra school activities. It helps the students to develop their talents and build up their condence. The equipment and facilities available in the auditorium can compete with any professional or state –of-art commercial hall.

SICKBAY ROOM

Our Sickbay Room is equipped with three beds and well trained medical staff to cater with any emergency by providing first aid and primary treatment to students.

Additional Facilities

LANGUAGE RESOURCE ROOM

Seminars are organized in a language resource room by renowned faculties to increase and develop interest towards multiple languages amongst the students. Projects and presentations are also shown in the Language Resource Room for knowledge sharing, to motivate and develop confidence in students.

COUNSELLING SESSIONS

The school has in-house counselors who provide students and their parents with necessary counselling and guidance. Every student at school undergoes counselling sessions to ascertain academic and other needs.

SEMINAR ROOM

The school has hi-tech air conditioner Seminar Hall for holding workshops and seminars for teachers as well as students.

MATHEMATICS LABORATORY

To enrich the teaching of Mathematics at the school level, the math lab has been set up. The lab has all modern apparatus which can turn the abstruse Math’s puzzles into simple concepts. It also has geometrical models which can explain difficult theorems in an easy manner.

SECURITY SYSTEM

The school is provided with a fully integrated CCTV system to enable education in a safe environment. CCTVs are managed only by authorised persons. In addition, 24 hours security guard is also appointed.

TRANSPORT FACILITY

The school provides transport facility for students who are living in and around Vadodara city. Our buses are GPS and CCTV enabled buses.

SCIENCE & ENVIRONMENT GALLERY

Students are allowed to experiment their theoretical knowledge and to display their experiments in the Science Gallery. These type of activities encourages them to have more interest in studies.

PARENT-TEACHER MEETS

Parent-teacher meetings are held in the school on a regular basis. Also, after the admission procedure is done, an orientation program for each class is conducted.

DINING HALL

Our school provides healthy and hygienic food to the students. Daily food menu is prepared by an expert nutritionist.
